Update – October 26, 2020

Dear Valued Patients,

I hope this note finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming normal habits and routines.

While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. My staff and I have been working diligently, ensuring all of our protocols and systems are working correctly. We have purchased new respirators, air purifiers, and additional suction systems. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow these agencies’ activities so that we are up to date on any new guidance that may be issued.

In our continuing effort to make Otsego Dental as safe of an environment as possible for our customers and our employees, we are now utilizing the technologies of Surgically Clean Air to clean, purify, and re-energize every cubic foot of air within our dental practice. Our new Surgically Clean Air unit contains a six-stage filtration system that includes a HEPA-Rx filter that captures 99.998% of all particles down to 0.1 microns and utilizing UV-C germicidal light to destroy airborne viruses and bacteria.

Surgically Clean Air Units are one of the world’s most advanced standalone medical-grade air purifiers.

  • Remove dust and pollen that affects allergies
  • Eliminate germs and viruses that make people sick
  • Eliminate odors and VOCs that irritate people
  • Re-energize stale indoor air to make breathing easier, and leave you feeling more energized

You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. We have made these changes to protect our patients and staff. For example:

  • We will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions.
  • We will have hand sanitizer for you and ask that you come wearing a mask if you have one available to you
  • The reception area will no longer have magazines, toys, and so forth as these are difficult to clean
  • We may have you relax in your car until your appointment time to aid in social distancing
  • My staff and I look forward to seeing you again and would be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the steps we are taking to keep you and every patient safe in our practice. To make an appointment, please call our office at 763-251-7741 or contact us.
